Recently, we have implemented our new community garden, and the children have been actively involved in every step. Together, we built the garden bed by laying down layers of cardboard for weed control and adding fresh soil. The children helped spread the soil, plant strawberries, cucumbers, capsicums, and tomatoes.
It has been fun and exciting to watch the garden grow. The children take great pride in caring for the plants and observing the changes each day.
As the garden continues to grow, we are strengthening our connection with the community by sharing fresh produce with the community kitchen for everyone to enjoy.
